Double Strand Heishi Earrings
Before the Native people of the Southwest used metals, they made heishi, meaning "shell." The beads are flat, smooth discs, and have been hand-cut, hand-drilled and hand-polished. Santo Domingo artist, Ramona Bird, mastered this traditional jewelry making technique while crafting these double strand, pen shell heishi earrings! Cone is made from 925 sterling silver.
